What is SEAP?
SEAP (pronounced see-ap) is the Scout Environment Awareness Program. The SEAP team consists of keen, energetic Rovers, Leaders and community members and together we form the SEAP Fellowship. Our team is very knowledgable and most members are trained in the Environmental Sciences. We are all about helping you, everyone in Scouting, get out and learn more about our precious environment. ![]() Scouts learning about water catchments There are many ways that we can help you, your section, your group or even your District. We have ideas of games, activities and project that can help you to incorporate the environment into your program. There are also opportunities for you to participate in our events, designed to target the award scheme requirements of each section. We also run training and information sessions for leaders. We can assist with establishing environmental projects within your community, provide fundraising opportunities, and help to make your scout halls energy efficient, reduce waste, conserve water and much more. ![]() A Joey Scout learning about recycling If you need help with anything to do with the environment then you need the SEAP team. All you need is a desire and drive to help us educate the youth and adults of scouting. It’s a great way to learn! Want to contact us?You can contact the SEAP team by sending an email to Angela Hein Branch Commissioner for Environment at bc.environment@scoutswa.com.au or she can be reached on 0438 926 694.
