The Scout Communications and Technology Team  (SCAT Team)

 The team provides workshops in electronics, amateur radio, computers and internet. We have a skilled team of people who can provide Scouts with interesting and entertaining activities.

 Team members are widely experienced in Scouting, and offer a broad range of technical, practical and teaching skills, offering:

  Amateur Radio License courses and examinations/assessments

• Practical instruction and experience in using Amateur Radio, building and testing antennas, etc
  

• Electronics project building for all ages

• The Internet Experience - how the Internet can enhance your Scouting experience

How To Find Us

The Peter Hughes Scout Communication Centre is located at 2 Gibbs St, East Cannington.  You can get there in around 30  minutes from anywhere in the Metro Area. Coming from Perth, along Orrong Road, Turn Right into McDowell St, proceed to the T junction traffic lights. This is Welshpool Road, and the Centre is right in front of you, however you will have to go 'round the block to get to it.  Turn left, 1st right, 1st right, 1st right and drive almost to the end. We're on your right.
